Katherine Kimball is a Boston educated, New Orleans based freelance photographer. After graduating from Emmanuel College in 2015 she worked with a national food delivery company, Caviar Inc., producing photo content for their Boston market. Her focus is in food photography, working with restaurants and publications such as Food and Wine Magazine, Arnauds, The Pelican Club, Good Grit Magazine, and Eater in New Orleans and Red Lantern, Empire and The Hunt Guides in Boston. She also moonlights as a concert photographer, and can be found frequently photographing local Punk shows in New Orleans.

What do you love about your job?

I love that everyone sees everyone and everything differently. I love being able to put my perspective out in the world.

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?

I have done a little bit of everything, from food, to music, to events, to portraits. I like to think that I can make anyone feel comfortable and at home and that makes me good at what I do.

A fun fact about this photographer

I cook a weekly dinner for about 15 every Tuesday, everything from paella to homemade pasta to khao soi and gyoza.
