More about Ken O....

What do you love about your job?

I shoot from my heart. I love shooting a project that sits right in my heart, where I’m able to express my emotions through light, color, and form. I also love making people feel emotions when they look at my work.

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?

I’ve done work for graduation ceremonies, families, fashion, and, most commonly, portrait work. I made them special by expressing what my client wanted or felt. I like connecting with them and involving them in the process, making sure that they’re able to see themselves expressed in a visual way.

Awards, honors, and recognitions received

I’ve never been awarded any accolades as I’m still relatively small, but I have been interviewed and published in Miami Voyage magazine and had an article on crafting cinematic photography published in Storius Magazine.

A fun fact about this photographer

I love coffee almost as much as photography. I trained as a barista for as long as I did photography and it’s a hobby I enjoy greatly.
