More about Kristelle D....
What do you love about your job?
I love taking photos to tell stories. Every photo means something. Photography always allows you to express certain feelings and those emotions can truly resonate with people.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I have done many portraits when I was studying my higher level technical degree. And as soon as I finished my degree, I continued taking portraits and fashion photos of my friends to see how I was doing, and I also photographed nature.
While studying, I took photos of buildings, and we also did fashion, beauty and product photography.
That was really fun, beacuse in each photoshoot there was something special to capture. Many of the photos were taken in a studio with the necessary equipment to make that possible.
So for each session, I would create a document to organize my lights, background and the camera I would use, as well as any other products needed for the photoshoot. For fashion shoots, some were outdoors and ohers in the studio, and we always prepared several outfits to mix and match. For beauty shoots, we required makeup, sometimes I did it myself, and other times I worked with makeup artists. For arquitectural photography, I would look for buildings that weren't too tall but high enough to be edited later in photoshop according to the architectural style. Even for small edits, it was important to take the photo as straight as possible, with the lines in place.
But above all, organization and comunication with the client were alwas the priority.
A fun fact about this photographer
I've loved dancing since I was very little, I used to practice dances I saw from studios on Youtube, I almost joined a dance academy, but I let time slip by and never signed up. Even now, I still love dancing.
