What do you love about your job?

I love meeting new people. I love creating flattering photos, making people feel good about themselves.

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?

Being based in my very small home town, population of less than 400, I've done a bit of everything. It's hard to specialize. I try to make people feel important when photographing them. I've studied lighting and posing, to learn how to create a flattering photo of someone.

Awards, honors, and recognitions received

I hold a Master Craftsman degree from the Professional Photographers of America. I've had prints exhibited at their international convention a few times.

A fun fact about this photographer

I enjoy bicycle riding. I've ridden across states, border-to-border 4 different times (Iowa twice, plus once across Arkansas and Oklahoma).
