What do you love about your job?
I love the social aspect of my job as a photographer. I love interacting and working with clients, taking images of them in those special moments. I wish to freeze time and create a permanent memory for them in the form of an image.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I have photographed many different types of shoots from portraits, weddings, events, pets, wildlife, landscapes, product, fashion, and art. I make my shoots special by connecting and interacting with my clients beforehand. I learn what my clients want out of their images and what they expect from their shoot and me as their photographer. Many of my clients book me because of a friend or family member referring me so I put lots of effort into making their session unique while having fun. Many of my clients continue to book me for their images to portray and communicate to the viewer I sometimes spend more time interacting with them than I do shooting to eliminate fears, build confidence, and get as many quality images for the shoot.

I've participated in many photo challenges throughout the years, online contests, we were recently nominated and voted in the Louisville's Best Awards, featured in several publications and blogs, and "paid" ads that have resulted in nominations and picks.
A fun fact about this photographer
I have a passion for auto racing and had the opportunity to race for Honda from 2005-2012. Through the support of great coaching, mentors, sponsors, and friendships, I finally won a National Championship in 2010. If photography wasn't an option, I would chase love to race cars again! I met so many great people and competitors that resulted in great friendships, it makes me miss the racing scene.
