I am an experienced photographer with two years of time and hard work dedicated to this art. I have worked with many families, individuals and small, local business's to capture the essence of them through my photos. I have been working as a freelance photographer under my own dictation for these past two years, since then I have worked in and enjoy an array of categories including portrait, family, business and boudoir. Yet, my passion lies in and I excel at portrait photography. I have taken many photos and people always ask me what my favorite one is, I always answer that by saying that it's whatever photo I capture next.
I love meeting and connecting with my clients, because I'm a strong believer in "everything happens for a reason" and so they've entered my life for a reason. Because of that I'm going to give you all of me. One hundred and ten percent of my time and energy. My work has always come from my heart and is a very vulnerable thing for me so to be photographing people and bringing out their vulnerability and them giving me the opportunity to be apart of that beautiful moment in their life is my favorite part.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I have done an array of shoots ranging from family, senior, newborn, product, boudoir, birth etc. I try to make every shoot special by delivering them a gallery full of the raw emotion and memory of that time and place. For example I had a mother to be ask me to do her birth photography, but she was nervous and hesitant to have such an intense time in her life photographed, but after reassurance and answering all her questions she decided that she wanted the photos. I got the call from her husband at 3:27 AM on October 21st that she had just went into labor and they were admitted. I got ready and got all of my things together as fast as I could so that I could be there for her for moral support and for business. Her labor was particularly difficult and I did everything I could to make sure her and her husband were comfortable, from rubbing her back, making sure she was hydrated, giving words of encouragement, shooting in the lowest light possible so she could rest etc. Early in the morning on October 22nd her son was born and it was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen in my life. I had to hold back tears so I could keep shooting! I made sure to wrap all those wholesome feelings of love, completeness and joy into her gallery so whenever she looked at those photos she could relive that time over and over again.
