Martha was born in Mexico City. In 2013 she moved to Chicago to pursue her BFA in photography from School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She does freelance photography, mainly food, portrait and event photography. What do you love about your job?

I love the flexibility and all the people I meet. My favorite part is learning from every photo shoot.

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?

I've done a bit of everything from weddings to product. I make every single session special by enjoying what I'm doing and being in constant communication with the client.

A fun fact about this photographer

My favorite place on Earth is Oaxaca, Mexico. I love it not just because of their gastronomic scene and wonderful people but because my grandma was born there.
