More about Michael J....
What do you love about your job?
What I love most about my job is being able to create something that has real impact for my clients. In real estate, great photos can be the difference between a listing getting overlooked or getting immediate attention, and I enjoy knowing my work helps properties stand out and sell faster.
I also enjoy the mix of creativity and technology. Every shoot is different, and I get to combine composition, lighting, and drone work to capture a property at its best. It keeps the work interesting and always pushes me to improve.
At the end of the day, I like delivering images that not only look professional but actually help people grow their business—that’s what makes it rewarding.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I’ve worked mainly on real estate photography and videography, including residential listings, exterior property shoots, and aerial drone imaging for larger homes and land. I’ve also done detail-focused interior shots, where lighting and composition are key to making spaces feel clean, open, and inviting.
What I focus on to make each shoot special is preparation and intention. Before every session, I plan my angles, study the lighting, and think about what makes that property unique—whether it’s natural light, layout, or location. During the shoot, I use a mix of ground and drone perspectives to give a complete view of the property, not just standard listing photos.
In editing, I prioritize clean, natural-looking images with balanced color and exposure so the property feels realistic but still visually elevated. The goal is always the same: make the listing stand out while staying true to what buyers will actually see in person.
Awards, honors, and recognitions received
At this time, I have not received formal photography awards or industry honors. However, I have gained recognition through consistent client satisfaction, repeat business, and positive feedback from real estate agents who value the quality, reliability, and fast turnaround of my work.
My focus has been on building hands-on experience in real estate photography and drone imaging, continuously improving my skills in composition, lighting, and editing to deliver professional results for every project.
A fun fact about this photographer
A fun fact about me is that I’m always looking for the best angle—even outside of photography. I’ll often notice lighting and composition in everyday scenes without even thinking about it.
