Since the beginning of Michael's photographic experience, he's had a passion to create interesting images combining old photographic techniques with new technology. His ten years of experience in post-production has led him to create a unique color palate and style within his work. He exerts a strong technical understanding in both people and product photography, and is an efficient worker who's very punctual. He is a very hands-on individual who works well in a team to provide the greatest products.
I love my job because it allows others to see the world as I do. Everyone has a unique perspective on life and what it means to them. Photography allows me to better understand the perspectives of people, places, and things. The relationships to these people, places, and things are quintessential. Photography is the tool I use to express my gratitude, passion, hopes, and inspirations derived from the beauty of people and places I've been blessed to encounter. It grants the exploration of life and opportunity. Jobs don't get much better.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
Most of my commissioned photography has been of people. I try my best to get to know them and find commonalities. I create a special experience by melding the visions of both subject and photographer into one or more images. If we have serious deep conversions the images reflect that. If we are silly and goofing around the pictures show that dynamic. It's always catered to the individual.
Awards, honors, and recognitions received
In college I won a free lifetime website with Show It through a portfolio contest. I've been featured on Paiste symbols website. I've also been featured in the Hollywood Reporter in Los Angeles.
A fun fact about this photographer
A fun fact about myself is that if I could spend a life-time on multiple crafts I would. Photography prevailed as my number one but I also play bass, love culinary arts, and practice mixed martial arts.
