I love being able to create something that others can hopefully enjoy or ponder. I love the relationships that form around a photo shoot; learning about the lives of clients or subjects, the stories behind machines, or what drives athletes.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
For automotive shoots, the environment is important. Thorough scouting, checking morning and evening light at chosen locations, and finding backdrops where you can control the environment is paramount. Choosing to integrate certain colors into your photo based on the vehicle color or subject's clothing really pulls a shoot together and adds an additional layer of polish and cohesiveness.
A fun fact about this photographer
I'm a beekeeper, and keep rooftop bees in downtown Covington, KY. I've been keeping bees for several years and have a passion for native bee conservation.
