Nancy has been shooting food, beverages, events and landscapes in beautiful East Texas for the past 10 years. She has focused primarily on food and beverage in the past year. Even though her college background is in Public Administration she has taken many online photography courses and workshops to improve her skills.
What I love most about photography is that there is the opportunity to use creativity in a composition along with the mechanical aspect of a camera and the science of studying and using light to create images.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
In the past year I have focused on wine, beer, cocktails and delicious foods. I use lighting to illuminate and highlight each photograph to create an inviting ambience.
Awards, honors, and recognitions received
Texas Bank & Trust Photography Competition Awards in 2015, 2013, 2011, 2010 and 2009. My work has also been featured in several East Texas Publications. I also received an honorable mention for my work in Shutterbug Magazine.
A fun fact about this photographer
When I'm not shooting photographs I love riding mountain bike trails and travel. I also LOVE all different types of coffees so I have spent the last year learning about coffee beans to create unique blends.
