More about Obii I....
What do you love about your job?
There’s nothing like the moment when someone looks at a photo and likes what they see. That’s what I love.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I’ve worked on portrait, event, and documentary shoots. For portraits, I focus on capturing the subject in a way that feels real and true to who they are, without forcing poses. For events, I seek the unscripted moments, the reactions, connections, and energy that make the event memorable. In documentary photography, I tell a story through details: the expressions, gestures, and small elements that reveal something deeper about the subject and the moment. Every shoot is special because I focus on what’s authentic and make it beautiful.
A fun fact about this photographer
A fun fact about me is that I once won the Cannes Young Lions Award for Design. Alongside my photography, I also write poetry, which influences how I see and capture the world. Both of these creative outlets help me connect with storytelling in a unique way, whether through visuals or words.
