In 2010 Olga has moved from Latvia to Edinburgh to follow her long-lasting passion for photography. She has completed her bachelor degree in Photography and Film with a distinction four years later, and now is a seasoned commercial photographer with bags of experience in interior, portrait, product and event photography.
What I love about being a photographer, is versatility - in my schedule, in the pace of my days, in variety of people I interact with, and different "hats" I have to wear. Each shot is a story, something new about the world that I did not know about, a little adventure and an exciting challenge. Photography is a field which allows constant growth and inspires me to be better at what I am doing every day.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
Working for Edinburgh Napier University, I have done a lot of portraits of students for the LinkedIn platform, approx. over 600 people were in front of my camera in the last few years. It is a challenging and exciting task - to find a connection with a person, relax them and make a nice portrait all in the span of about two minutes. Lately, I've been developing my interior photography skills, and now am proud to provide this service efficiently and to a high standard.
