Paola Lugo is a self-taught, bilingual photographer based in Dallas, Texas.

She's been taking pictures & studying the craft since she was 12 years old. But it wasn't until 2019 ,when she moved to the US, that she started working as a freelance photographer.

After 2 years taking photoshoots on the side (while also working her full-time job as a retail store manager), she decided to quit her job to go all in & double down on her photography business.

What do you love about your job?

I love having the chance to follow my curiosity and be creative - learning new things every day and improving myself.

And I love using my skills & my tools to help other people create everlasting memories.

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?

I have worked with families, kids, babies, newborns, pregnant women, weddings, birthdays and more.

I made them special by making people feel comfortable while taking pictures.

Awards, honors, and recognitions received

When I was 15, I joined my parents on one of their tours through Europe and I was responsible for taking all the pictures — including the official photos of an important classic guitar contest in Rome, Italy.

One of the pictures I took during this trip ended up winning an award at a school contest later the same year.

I'm 25 years old and I have live in 3 differents countries and 4 cities.
My first language is spanish but I LOVE speaking english.
