More about Peter F....

What do you love about your job?

I love to connect with people who are doing what they love and what they excel in. My expertise in photography is capturing those fleeting moments which show people as their best selves, as the person they always dreamed of or aspire to be. Through my work, I reveal a person's inner genius, their own personal inspiration that makes them unique and wonderful.

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?

Live music, from small acoustic gigs to festivals with an audience of 5000.
Theatre, from Shakespeare in the Park and specialist social justice companies to the local pantomime with my work featuring in the programmes, marketing and local press.
Portraits for individuals and groups that communicated their unique branding and capabilities.
Weddings, for people who don't want traditional weddings.
Charities, showcasing their breadth and value of work and their diversity of people and activities.
Schools, creating image libraries that capture their cultural distinctiveness and passion for learning.
I made all of these special by getting inside the branding, culture or passion of the people involved and bringing a new perspective that enabled them to see themselves and their organisations in an exciting, aspiring, uplifting way.

Awards, honors, and recognitions received

Every time I see my work in print is an honour, whether it's the local press, my clients using my work in their marketing and PR activities or a band using my work to promote their music. Even when I see that someone has used one of my photos as their social media profile picture. To me, this signals that I have captured what they see as their essence, their best self that they want to show to the world.

A fun fact about this photographer

I have been a stage hypnotist which featured in a TV documentary and I ghost write books for minor celebrities.
