More about Peter M....

What do you love about your job?

Travelling and exploring the environment that I am confronted with. Photography for me is a way that I learn to understand the people and places that I meet along the way. The people that I meet and hearing about there lifestories and trying to capture part of that within an image.

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?

I have done numerous shoots although one recently stands out. I was asked to shoot a 50th Birthday party, to break down the barriers and produce a unique experience for the shoot. I got my assistant to hold a vintage picture frame in front of each and every group of people. The interaction between the people and the picture frame gave a cohesion to the whole shoot and also helped them to relax. So that I was able to capture some memorable images.

A fun fact about this photographer

Working as an assistant , the photographer who shall remain nameless, got annoyed with me and said that for the rest of the day. I had to do my job ten paces behind him at all times. Ironic really as loading a camera from ten paces proved difficult ! .
