Phil picked up photography as a hobby several years ago. Through his interactions with subjects, he fell in love with the idea of capturing candid moments. That love grew into a respect for the craft of photography. After several years of booking gigs alone, Phil accepted a job with Shoott. Since then, his craft has grown by leaps and bounds. Photography has broadened his horizons and expanded his outlook on life and the world around him.
I love meeting with my clients and helping them capture those little memories! I want my clients to be able to look back in the years to come and reflect on those moments we were able to save!
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I have done many family and professional headshots in the past. When one typically sees a professional headshot, it looks very poised and put together, and very alike many other headshots. I like to use depth of field as well as different angles in order to capture my subject in such a way that it encapsulates their personality. Making the human shine through is what I always aim for. The focus of the headshot is to make the person stand out beyond just their name on a piece of paper.
A fun fact about this photographer
I have a degree in Architecture/Engineering Design and another in Exercise Science. For the past 5 years I have owned a small personal training facility, unfortunately, I had to close it due to Covid.
