Pietro Milici, 34 years old, is an Italian photographer based in New York, where he works as freelance photographer and videographer with different American and European entities. In 2012 he has graduated in Marine Biology in Palermo (Italy). He started to work as a photographer in 2007 with an Italian company called " Digital Group. Subsequently, he graduates in the university Elisava of Barcelona (Spain) in “Photography and Design”. In Barcelona, it starts to collaborate with "Piel de Foto." After various collective and individual exhibitions in the city of Barcelona, it starts to collaborate with Jordi Bernadó a Spanish photographer that works in the field of architecture and the art. Subsequently, he starts his work as freelance continuing to exhibit his personal projects in Europe, among the most important collaborations that with the City Hall of Barcelona, Josep Molinas, Microsoft, Münchhausen, 15-L Films, Actar, CLAC, Foundation Telecom Italia, GAM, etc. A period full of great satisfaction, but above all of the growth in the dedication, in the creation, in the cleaning, and in the unattainable perfection. A period that has made him love the non-subject photo to structures of style or confined to itself.
Photography gives me the kick to get up in the morning, it gives me that need to do something, that feeling I have something or someone to catch, it makes me want to share my ideas, criticize them, demolish and improve them. I need it.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I have been doing a lot of photoshoots. Commercial, headshots, architectural, events, etc.. I do not make them special, I just try to share my vision with the client and the rest of the world. And so far is always been appreciated.
