I love the fact that I can take someones vision and make it happen. I love to deliver pictures and and hear the reaction of the client. There are so many great things about it, it gives me the freedom to be creative, express myself and have pictures that make all of my friends and family say wow.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I do a lot of senior portraits and I always to to include something special in to them from their high school days or something they are in too. I have used varsity letters, instruments, religious symbols and even a guys first car. For weddings I like to sit down with the couple and go over what they are looking for and get to know them and their personality's. For one wedding the couple always likes to goof around and play with each other. So for their wedding I was sure to get the traditional portraits, but also shoot fun pictures of warped perspective of the brides foot to make it look big and to have her act like she was stepping on the grooms man, the groom being held by the bridesmaids and them both running from the wedding party. A friend I was doing portraits of mentioned they had never been to prom so we got a prom dress to get pictures of her in it to in a way recreate the experience for her.
