What do you love about your job?
I see so much beauty in the world, and I want to capture it for everyone to enjoy. For example, I'll see a mother tucking her child's hair behind his ear. The simple gesture is so intimate and tender, and it exemplifies so much about their relationship to me. I feel compelled to photograph moments like that, so the mother and her son can see and enjoy this moment that might otherwise be lost to memory.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I have done innumerable family and boudoir photoshoots. I'm very friendly, and sensitive, so I am of greatest value in a situation where I can help put everyone at ease throughout the process.

In 2019 my fine art photography was featured in the show, "Boudoir & the Female Gaze: boudoir by Rachel Sima Castro," at the Broad Room gallery in midtown, Sacramento.
I also been featured in numerous publications, in 2019 those includes The Daily Dog Tag and Dream Broad Magazine.
A fun fact about this photographer
I have a Great Dane! She's my sweet lap dog, even if she is the size of a pony.
