What do you love about your job?

I love everything about photography, the gear, the techniques, the places it takes me, the creative outlet it offers, the people it allows me to meet, sharing images with others, the progression. With photography, it seems like I can never stop learning no matter how long I've shot for. There are so many types of photography, from Military, car, product, wildlife, architecture, underwater the list is endless. It's a job I will never get tired of. But specifically, regarding wedding and portrait work, I've found it's very rewarding to capture images that clients will cherish the rest of thier life.

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?

I have done weddings, portraits, corporate events, in-studio headshots, products, surprise engagement, senior, vow renewal, even a portrait of a former 1970's model, that she gave to Peter Max to turn into a painting of herself. I make my shoots special by getting to know my clients and becoming friends before the shoot, and I use the environment and weather at a location to create unique images.
