I am a fashion/portraiture photographer who also likes to do street and product photography from time to time. I have been taking pictures with a DSLR for 7 years, however my pursuit of photography really took off about 3 years ago. I did study photography for a semester, but I am primarily self taught and enjoy experimenting with what one can do with photography.
I love the creative aspects of photography. I love the fact that you can create your own world within the one we live in and have everyone else partake in your vision. I love making people feel beautiful. I like making people feel confident in how they look, not just because of their physical attributes, but because of the stories they can tell and the emotions they can convey through their face and body.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I have done a number of portraits during my photography journey, I like to make them special by making everything as authentic as possible. If I want to have a shot of my client smiling, I want to make them laugh. If I want a super colourful shoot I want to bring paint and have the model interact with the colours in person. The only things I really want to do in lightroom or photoshop is refine an already real moment.
Awards, honors, and recognitions received
I haven't received any awards, but something I am proud of is a gallery event I hosted last year. Though it was small, I was able to display my own photography, artwork, and poetry for the public to see. I also accommodated other up and coming visual artists and musicians.
A fun fact about this photographer
A fun fact is I am originally from London, but now I live in sunny California. I also enjoy writing, art, and music.
