More about Ruslan K....
What do you love about your job?
I love the technical side of it: figuring out how to make a room look its best given the light, the layout, and whatever challenges the space throws at me. There's a real satisfaction in walking into a property, working out the right approach, and coming away with images that make it stand out in a crowded listing. It's a job where preparation and problem-solving directly translate into a result you can see.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I've done family and portrait sessions for years, and more recently commercial photography for my wife's early childhood education business — shooting her, the team, and partner preschools for their website and social media. Now I focus on real estate, and what makes each shoot special is paying attention to the details that help a listing stand out — clean lines, inviting light, and images that give potential buyers a real sense of the space before they ever walk through the door.
A fun fact about this photographer
I have a Master's in Public Policy from the University of Bristol — a bit of an unexpected background for a photographer, but the analytical thinking from that degree actually comes in handy when I'm problem-solving.
