Saidamir believes skills and experience is what makes you a professional not a degree. A self taught photographer, he started when he was 14 and has been developing his skills since his first photograph. From the countless hours of research, hundreds of shoots and an unhealthy amount of coffees later he finally found his style. What started with just landscape photos, quickly turning into product and portrait photography. He has worked with multiple both local brands around the city of Toronto and internationally taking fashion street photographers for brands like Alphalete, MNML and many more.
One of my favourite things about photography is the second life of the photo. I love looking back at photos, and remembering what was going on when they were taken. Often there is a story of that you can share. They can be amazing time capsules. I love taking those photos that people may not think of. Giving them that special moment, the next time they look at the photos is what I love.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I have done a lot of portrait photography, and often people can be very self conscious of how they look. I often try to do a few tests shots to find the best angles and usually when I show the client the photos their reaction just always feel so special. They can never believe how good they look or that I took the time to find the best angles for them.
Awards, honors, and recognitions received
I have yet to get an awards or honors for my work, but hopefully in the future!
