More about Sandra K....
What do you love about your job?
I love solving puzzles: how do you make a hamburger look so good, that a customer will want to eat it, even if originally wanted something else? How do you make a shy person feel at home at a studio and just be themselves, forget that there is a camera in front of them? Every shoot is different, every client is a new puzzle to solve.
And I love the WOW! I get when I show people images on the back of the camera. No Photoshop, no gimmicks - just them seen from a different perspective.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I started out as maternity and newborn photography, did some product work, worked with food. Now I primarily shoot adult portraits and food.
Awards, honors, and recognitions received
I was published in Vigour Magazine in Canada and Dominante in France. Two of my images were part of an exhibition at the Saguaro National Park.
