What do you love about your job?

I love telling stories in pictures. I get a thrill out of the entire process of shooting, reviewing, and editing. I enjoy getting into the flow of creating beautiful photos and illustration.

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?

I've captured senior pictures for upcoming graduates, family photos, and professional portraits. I prefer to work outdoors or in ambient light, as I aim to give the shots a genuine look and feel. In recent years I've pursued portraits in urban and even industrial settings.

A fun fact about this photographer

I spent most of my career as a writer and editor, and was an investigative reporter for several years before entering the non-profit field as a media relations director.
