What do you love about your job?
Honestly? I love that no two days look the same. One week I'm in the middle of a wedding, surrounded by people at their happiest, and the next I'm in a quiet house figuring out how to make the morning light do something beautiful.
What I love most is the people. At events, I get to witness moments most folks never even notice. The dad tearing up before the ceremony, the friends laughing so hard they can't breathe. Being trusted to capture those moments never gets old. And with real estate, there's a real satisfaction in helping someone sell a home or show off a space they've worked hard on.
I also love the craft of it. Chasing good light, finding the right angle, solving little problems on the fly, it keeps me sharp and it never feels like the same job twice.
But the best part is the reaction. When someone sees their photos and lights up, or tells me I captured exactly how their day felt, that's it. That's why I do this. Five-plus years in, and that feeling still hasn't worn off.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I have done Birthday, Family, Graduation, Enagagement session and Wedding Shoot. Before I start capturing people, I like to introduce myself, crack some jokes and make the environment more clam so, people in front of camera feels like calmer and comforable.
