I’m an Australian creative guy with an extensive history of photography for travel and lifestyle magazines, food clients ( i.e food suppliers and restaurants ) and celebrity portraits for OK! Magazine among the many other high profile clients that I have shot for.
For more than twenty years I have worked for many of Australia’s leading magazine publishers and also for a diverse range of clients from overseas, notably Conde Nast Traveller from the UK.
My style is natural with some glamour and polish. Additionally my photo styling skills are strong whether it is a food or portrait session - so that always helps the image coming out strong.
Currently I offer a natural light photo session - not with studio lighting.
Creative but technical, we are visual artists but also mechanics of light, I know light now - and how to use it on the subject under many changing natural light situation. Travels and photos obviously go together and the lust for travels lent itself to commercial work while travelling - that was a dream come true. Now we live in a different age where more home based photography is required and a focus on the town you live in.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I have done many model portfolios and its amazing to see the transformation of the model after the shoot is over. I have the knack to bring out the beauty of my subject and the make-over can be long lasting - another words a star is born.
Awards, honors, and recognitions received
I made the cover of Conde Nast Traveller, the British edition in 2015 ( a resort beach image from Bali )
