What do you love about your job?
I can't imagine my life without a camera at my wrist and visions of images everywhere I look. I love the people that I get to work with and I especially love working with children. This is not only a career, this is my passion, my love and my way of life.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I have done many one-year birthday sessions in the past and I have found that they are one of my favorite types of sessions to do. I like to have the kiddos be as natural as possible and in the most relaxed atmosphere. I enjoy meeting with the family at the park, walking around with them and using the natural light. At the end of the session, we typically do a fun "cake smash" where the little one gets to have fun with their very own cake!
Awards, honors, and recognitions received
Had 3 images on display at the "Bad A** Women" Photo exhibit in 2017;
Won the Tucson Photo Competition and had my photograph on display at the Center of Creative Photography in 1994.
*** (The following are not my awards, but I feel that they are a reflection of me) As a photography teacher in 2017, my students swept the Superintendent's photo competition taking 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th and Superintendent's Choice Award; Placed 3rd in State Competition and swept the Creative Camera Club with all awards available.

I have skydived 4 times and traveled to Ireland by myself!
