What do you love about your job?

I love creating a story out of each precious moment I can capture. I feel it’s such an honor when a client hires me, and then I can build a lasting relationship with them. I love seeing them at the moment when they become relaxed in front of the camera. From that moment on, we’re just out there having fun.

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?

I have done maternity, newborn, family lifestyle, an pet shoots. For families its really important that everything planned is thought out based on the family’s personality as a whole. The location, style guide, poses, everything is thought out for them specifically. I’ve also shot many events, both indoor and outdoor. Events have their own flow about them, each one is different. For a music concert, I try to tell a story about their love for their art, as well as make sure I know their marketing strategies so I can capture shots that will help promote them for their next event.

Awards, honors, and recognitions received

I was contracted through another photographer for the city of Norcross to shoot the swearing in ceremony of the new mayor. These photos were published in the Gwinnett Daily Post, however I was not named as the photographer.

A fun fact about this photographer

I absolutely love dogs! If I had my way, I'd have like 5 dogs. One of the reasons I decided not to take pictures of the adoptable dogs and cats anymore is that I can't take them all home with me!
