What do you love about your job?

I love that I'm able to tell a story without words and that I'm creating something that will be part of a person or family's legacy. People don't need more things, in the end what matters are the relationships you've created and the memories you have. That's why photography makes such a great gift and I'm grateful to be a part of that and that clients trust me with their memories on their most important days as well as the ordinary ones.

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?

I have extensive experience with babies and children. My kids are in their 20's and I had a home daycare for 16 years. I know how to connect with young kids and their families. These aren't easy types of sessions, but I have a way of making them feel easy for the kids and families. Dads who didn't really want to be in the photos usually leave laughing and kids get a special treat from me for doing such a good job!

I really love tattoos, I think I must have been a tattoo artist in a past life.
