Tavia is a professional commercial, beauty and portrait photographer who has worked with many clients in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Portland for 7 years. Tavia has always been a very creative and loved working with other since she was a young girl. After high school, Tavia attended Cosmetology school where she received her license. Instead of working in a salon after graduation like most do; she began working in the magazine and ad industry where she found her love for photography. With no formal training and a little help from some of her photography friends; she taught herself how to use professional cameras and lighting equipment. Because of her experience as a hair stylist and make-up artist for 10 years; she knew how to build teams for photoshoots. From then on Tavia's career as a photographer took off and she hasn't looked back since.

What do you love about your job?

I love being a photographer because I love bringing other peoples ideas, visions, and dreams to life. It brings me great joy seeing the look on my client's face when they see the final images.

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?

I have done Beauty, E-Commerce, Product, Food and Portrait photoshoots. In order to make sure my clients feel special, I make sure I tailor each photoshoot specifically to my clients needs and desires.
