More about Tiffany K....
What do you love about your job?
I love being my own boss and having the ability to satisfy my creativity whenever I want. If I feel like taking a landscape photo one day and a boudoir photo the next, I can do that. As an Air Force veteran, having a sense of purpose is so important to me. I like knowing that what I do for a living really matters to people because my subjects mean so much to me. It all comes down to a respect for the people I photograph and being able to tell their story.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I have done a variation of projects from child portraits to corporate events, but I really like to connect with people on a personal level so that I can capture their personalities during the shoot. I pride myself on making my subjects feel comfortable and don't mind embarrassing myself to get people laughing and smiling. A photo shoot should be fun!
I've picked up a lot of tips and tricks from photographers I've worked with as a model. I continue to learn from respected photographers in my field. This has helped me on every photoshoot I've ever done. I often find myself posing right along with my models while I'm shooting and have to laugh at myself.
Awards, honors, and recognitions received
I've not won any awards, but I have been published in Ohio State Alumni Magazine, Saint Augustine Magazine (SAM), Two Maxim online publications, Hammock Magazine, The St Augustine Record newspaper,
