I operated a successful portrait photography studio in Northern California for fifteen years shooting events, headshots, products, weddings, high school seniors, families, musicians, and architecture. I love the combination of these different types of photography because I get to continually use my imagination in new and unique ways.
Thanks to the nature of the profession of photography, I get to meet new people and make authentic art while having fun all the time. I love The ability to photograph various subjects while having a small army of support through snapper. It is relieving for photographer-client communication to be so accessible. Also, I enjoy being a part of this fabulous team!
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
Every person is unique, and I approach each photographic job this way. Upon first contact, I try to make a genuine connection with each person, listen to their ideas, and then capture precisely the right look and feel. When I am "real" with my clients, the camera disappears, paving the way for natural, beautiful portraits.
