Treysi is an experienced food photographer who has been working with many casual and upscale restaurants in South Florida for many years. Her passion for photography and love for food inspired her to take food photography courses in Miami and New York that taught her essential small details in practicing restaurant food photography to deliver the best looking food and ambiance photos.
I love food!! And I love working with creative chefs! And I love seeing my work all over on social media, menus, digital ads, magazines, just about everywhere - and how people comment and love these photos, more importantly, I love seeing how effective my work is for restaurant marketing and advertising. The photos I take make a huge impact for these restaurants improving their businesses and I just love that.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I have been to some events to do food photography and a lot of different kinds of restaurants, both casual and upscale restaurants. Food photography at the events is pretty challenging because it is very hard to control the lighting at a fast pace event, however, I do my best not to get distracted and focus on getting the best photos if I am hired for an event. My last experience at an event was for a magazine that was hosting an upscale dinner and while I did my own set up, I also worked at the kitchen for interactive shots with the chefs that night.
Awards, honors, and recognitions received
I was reached out by a local magazine in Fort Lauderdale to do their food photography at their annual upscale dinning experience.
A fun fact about this photographer
I'm originally from Istanbul, Turkey. I've never thought or dreamed of moving to another city or country but here I am in Miami, FL. I came here for college and it felt like I have found my place - like it was meant to be.
