What do you love about your job?

I really love being a wedding and portrait photographer because life is so fleeting and truly needs to be captured. Babies grow fast and grandparents aren't around forever. What did mom and dad look like the year they got married? I love being able to preserve my clients' memories and know how much they value having their families documented.

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?

Family sessions hold a special place in my heart as well. I tend to excel at putting my clients at ease, and I'm often told at the end of the session that it was far more enjoyable than they had anticipated. I also enjoy getting a family out and away from their typical setting, letting toddlers roam and explore, and just be free with the environment. When a family can run and enjoy themselves in front of the camera, that's when the best images are created.

A fun fact about this photographer

While studying at Sac State, I was part of the marching band and played piccolo and flute. Today I support the local high school marching band as secretary of the Band Boosters Club.
