What do you love about your job?
I love to tell stories thru images. For me food is the foundation of a culture so you need to express that thru the pictures, you must see all the loves that cook put into that dish or the amazing food you can achieve with that special product.
I also love to interact with different clients and vision that will make me think outside the box to reflect their vision on the shot.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I have worked with food bloggers and cooks to showcase their dishes thru their websites or social media. I try to understand what is the look and feel of their brand to understand what colour to use, if they like bright or moody pictures, human elements in them, etc.
Some clients will like a more dreamy and girly feeling, some a more raw and masculine. As soon as I figure it out I will choose the perfect background and props to enhance the dish and reflect that mood.
A fun fact about this photographer
My major is Business Administrator and I have an MBA, so I started my professional life working in the corporate world, which gives me the advantage to understand the marketing part of what a good image will do for the business.
