I was interested in movies and started an online blog where I used to write commentaries. I was fascinated by image work in the cinema and was trying to learn more about it so that I could work in my dream jobs as a director of photography. When I learned more and more about photography, I felt that I was born to do it. I saved money for a year as a college student and bought my first camera.
The best thing I love about taking photos is the act of taking them at the first place. I always carry a camera with me even if it's not for work. I love to do documentary photography like an outsider, as if I'm a ghost and just going around where history is being written without anybody noticing. What I love specifically is that you can reflect on reality without any distortion. It's as if you're telling a story without changing anything, as much as you can as a human.
I've been living in NY for two years and it has been fascinating me in many aspects. I love to do street photography where my photos are part of the flow of life; so any street in Manhattan or Brooklyn where you can feel that flow. I'm also interested in taking photos in Coney Island and would love to tell any story around the place. I'm also planning on a long-term shooting project in Coney Island.See portfolio & book
