I'm an experienced photographer and videographer with a skillset aligned with real estate, commercial work, and live events. I've been doing this professionally for a couple of years now but as a hobby for many years. It is my goal to one day work on large scale productions and run my own production team. Jonas Nakas is an experimental analog photography enthusiast, with a BFA in Photography from CSU Long Beach. Combining commercial industry experience with a fine art education, and a passion for making friends, Jonas brings a warm and creative atmosphere to every shoot. Influenced by his surf photography background, Jonas likes to get close to the action and shoot with a wide-angle lens, to create images that tell a compelling story.

Jamaal has had the opportunity over the last few years to work with clients in the U.S. , Mexico, Europe & Canada. His clean and minimal approach is a style that is unique and has gained the attention of companies such as Adidas & Western Digital. Being inspired by cinematic film and moody landscapes, his dedication to color and composition have propelled him in the photography world. It wasn’t until I went to college and enrolled in photography classes that I really began my photography career. I have been shooting for the last 5 years.

I am an experienced Food & Restaurant Photographer with a proven track record of working with over 300 restaurants throughout Southern California. I have worked in many fields of photography but I specialize in food, interior, and lifestyle imagery that enhances brand presence and drives customer engagement. I am skilled in professional lighting, flash photography, and natural light techniques.
