Comment avez-vous commencé la photographie ?

I started photography when I was a freshman in Highschool. I took a photography class where they showed me how to develop my own film in the school's dark room. But it wasn't until I was pregnant with my son that I purchased my first Canon camera and began documenting my pregnancy. I did my own maternity photoshoot. When my son was born, I could not stop taking photos. I took photos of him at every stage. I also started to travel a bit and began taking lifestyle photos. When my sister was married 4 years ago, I was hired to take the photos of her engagement and wedding. Soon after that I began taking photos of client's special occasions, portraits and lifestyle portraits for their websites or blogs.

Qu'est-ce que vous aimez dans votre métier ?

I love seeing how happy a client gets when they get to see the final product. I enjoy interacting with people and getting to know them during a shoot. It's cool to learn about their story, I get to see the excitement on their face and body language. I love to capture that in my photos!

Quels sont vos endroits préférés à New York City pour prendre des photos ?

My favorite places to take photos in NYC have been Soho, Chinatown, Little Italy, Central Park, Downtown Brooklyn, Dumbo and Greenpoint in Brooklyn.
