Kelly O’Hara is a passionate and experienced photographer who has been capturing moments across the Waikato and Bay of Plenty regions for over a decade. With a degree in Media, majoring in Photography, she brings both technical skill and creative insight to every shoot. Kelly has a broad portfolio that includes family and professional portraits, equine, sports and rural events, food photography and maternity sessions. She is known for her friendly, professional approach and her ability to make clients feel at ease in front of the camera. Working with integrity and a genuine love for her craft, Kelly is committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for her clients—delivering images that are authentic, heartfelt, and timeless.

Photography started as a hobby for me, gaining momentum over the years. After completing some projects in Argentina, I applied for a photographer position at NCL - Norwegian Cruise Lines, where I worked for 3 years and quickly advanced to Photo Manager. In 2017, I moved to New Zealand and secured a position as a Birth and Family Photographer for another 3 years. During this time, I covered a wide range of photoshoots, including maternity, births, weddings, and events. I'm currently a freelance photographer known for my journalistic approach to capturing people and moments. I prioritize candidness and spontaneity over posed and pre-arranged shots.
