Alan De Castro is a travel photographer who has recently visited Nepal, India, and Sri Lanka. Some of his work has covered the Chepang mountain people of Nepal, trekking life in the Himalayas, rural Sinhalese landscapes, and a variety of south Asian street photography. Alan’s compassion for people, nature, and color reflects in his photos which is combined with his love for composition and design. He grew up in the San Francisco bay area where he attended school at the Academy of Arts University and attained a bachelor of fine arts in film. He has a over ten years of visual effects experience as a digital compositor and 3D stereo conversion artist. My training started while in college. What began as a hobby turned into a passion. Developing in a dark room photos from my Minolta manual camera was my first experience creating quality images. My passion turned into reality while in church working with the media team. This opportunity opened doors for me and potential customers started requesting my work to create great moments in their lives.
