Yi did a great job of directing me to capture natural, spontaneous moments and more planned shots. He was always looking for a new angle or story to go with a particular picture, something to explain why it was taken beyond just looking good. He also was happy to take suggestions and run with them, eager to get the perfect shot with the criteria he was given.
