From the ripe age of sixteen, Ian Barney has had a camera in his hand and a fire for photography in his heart. At age eighteen, he left his home of South Florida to expand his horizons and his camera went along with him, documenting the journey. After several months of travel, Ian and his camera ended up on the other side of the planet in New Zealand. There he encountered otherworldly landscapes and the nicest of Kiwi friends. Those two elements have fueled his passion for portrait photography that encompass the styles of travel, fashion, environmental, and lifestyle photography. His focus on people photography has helped him grow as an empathetic portrait photographer with a drive for creating picture perfect moments.

I’m in New Zealand to make me better every single day in this wonderful country. I'm a graduate in technology in Photography in Brazil, Business Administration in Brazil and Commercial Advertising in the USA. I was a Professional Volleyball Player in Brazil, Spain, Italy, and the USA. I speak English, Spanish, Portuguese. I’m a professional photographer and teacher photography. I gave a lot of courses and workshops in the photography area. Here I looking for a job that gives the opportunity to challenge myself every day, Awesome I'm hardworking so doesn't matter the challenge or difficult I will try my best to prove in me believes – “Be a bit better day after day”. I am positive and dedicate do make the environment the best place can be. I like to work in volunteer jobs on a day off and really love to work with kids, in Brazil I used to do that. Honest, compromised with my job and responsibility is simple things that a lot of people these days can’t do.
