Detroit Event Photographers

My passion for photography started when I was in middle school working in my uncle photography studio in Detroit. I will always take the opportunity to see how my uncle was working with his clients. In college, I bought myself a point-and-shoot camera and started trying to figure things out on my own. I had the opportunity to talk with a number of professional photographers and really learn from them how to take good photos. After college, I purchased a dlsr, signed up for online classes to learn more about my craft. I got myself to a number of photography workshops at a local store and even had the opportunity to attend a multi-day photography conference held in my area. During my career I have shot fashion shows, done work for advertising agencies, has had work printed in a variety of magazines and have worked with a variety of different clients.

After 10 years taking photos, Gabriella started her freelance photography career in 2020. Since then, Gabriella has been ranked among the top 10 commercial photographers in Detroit by Peerspace. She is a dedicated artist who works hand-in-hand with people, bands, & brands around the world to create memorable imagery and designs that capture the essence of every client’s vision. Gabriella’s extensive background in social media marketing means she can offer clients valuable insight into how to best use their content to reach their social media goals.

Erika Stewart is an experience professional photographer who started her passion in Detroit, MI. She went through intense courses at Grand Valley State University successfully completing courses in Studio, Digital, Experimental and Film Photography. Erika loves taking on challenging tasks and brainstorming how to portray her client's vision. She is an upbeat creative who is easy to work with and open to ideas.

I am a photographer with over five years of professional experience specializing in portrait, event, and lifestyle photography. As a team leader at a high-volume photography studio, I have directed and executed hundreds of photo sessions in dynamic environments, capturing school portraits, sports photography, and candid event imagery across the Detroit area. My role has strengthened my ability to adapt quickly, lead creative teams, and consistently deliver high-quality results under tight timelines. Alongside my studio work, I pursue freelance photography focused on creative storytelling, food photography, and visually driven content creation. I am passionate about combining technical precision with artistic vision to create images that feel authentic, engaging, and impactful. I continually refine my craft through hands-on experience, experimentation, and a commitment to growth within the evolving photography industry.

Brendan is a photographer with a wealth of experience across a wide range of disciplines. Advertising, marketing, education, food, entertainment and medicine are his comfort zones. He loves factories. He's been in surgery, coal mines, kitchens, car and truck factories, laboratories and helicopters. CEO's don't scare him. And good with kids
