In 2009, still working as photojournalist at A GAZETA, she finished a Postgraduate Degree in "Audiovisual and Multimedia Languages" and during this period also worked on the weekends at "Sao Camilo University" teaching Photography and Photojournalism classes at the department of Social Communication. At the end of 2009 she moved to Europe to get a Master Degree in Photography in Lisbon (Portugal), which started in 2009 and finished in 2011. After getting a master degree she went back to Brazil to work for “A Tribuna” Newspaper as a photojournalist where she worked for about a year till moved permanently to London - UK, where she has lived since 2014. In London Nara Parana works with photography in collaboration with photographic platforms that provide photography service all over the UK.
