There are photographers who are talented, and then there are photographers who so clearly love the art of photography that you can actually feel it in the experience of working with them. Sabrina is unquestionably one of those people.
From the moment she began photographing us, her passion, creativity, and incredible eye were impossible to miss. She notices things most people simply would not: the perfect angle, the most flattering light, a beautiful background we would have walked right past, or a tiny adjustment in positioning that somehow transforms a good photograph into an extraordinary one. She doesn’t simply take pictures. She creates them, and the level of thought and artistry she puts into every shot is remarkable.
What struck us perhaps even more than her talent was how genuinely invested Sabrina became in what she was creating with us. When our scheduled time together was coming to an end, she told us that she was having so much fun photographing us that, if we were okay with it, she would love to keep creating with us for as long as she could. There was no sales pitch and no discussion of anything additional. It was simply someone who was genuinely excited about her art and did not want to put the camera down while inspiration was still flowing. That moment told us everything about the kind of photographer Sabrina is.
And the photographs absolutely reflected it.
We were so blown away by the images Sabrina captured of our wedding after-party that we have already hired her again since then. We returned to our wedding venue in our wedding attire to recreate some of the magic of our wedding day through photographs, this time with one very important addition: our dog. There was no question in our minds that Sabrina was someone we wanted behind the camera again.
Her technical ability and artistic eye are exceptional, but what makes her truly special is the person behind the camera. Sabrina is warm, humble, patient, kind, and incredibly easy to be around. It is rare to find someone who is this passionate about what they do, this talented at doing it, and somehow still this humble. After spending a few hours together on more than one occasion, you almost forget that you hired a photographer and instead feel like you have gained a friend who just happens to be extraordinarily gifted with a camera.
We have worked with multiple photographers, which has only made us appreciate how special Sabrina is. There is a very real difference between someone who is good at photography and someone who seems genuinely compelled to create beautiful photographs. Sabrina is the latter.
We fully expect that we will be calling Sabrina to photograph us for years to come, through whatever milestones and memories life brings next. We feel incredibly fortunate that we happened to find her through Snappr.
