camera Canon EOS-1D X MARK II

My experience as a photographer also spans into videography and other elements of design. I went to art school and while . I was there I took a photography class. In that class it taught me that there are so many factors that make up a good photographer such as composition, lighting, and perspective. The more I dove into the art I started getting more people wanting me to shoot for them, my client work has spanned from portrait to product shots and company campaigns all which I love doing.

camera Canon EOS-1D Mark IV, Canon EOS 600D (Rebel T3i)

Hello, I am a San Francisco Bay Area based Editorial, Portrait, Lifestyle, and Food/Bev Photographer. I spent five years in NYC getting my skills honed into the style and fashion from the big apple. Originally, from San Francisco area, I am back to share visual eye with clients & provide best moments for your needs. I have extensive work with commercial - both marketing campaigns and product - as well as food and beverage. My passion comes from traveling and capturing moments, things, places I wanted people to see even if they were not there. Highlights of my photography experience and skills: 1. Versatile in working with multiple creative teams and have extensive experience with Art and Creative Directors as well as Marketing executives. 2. Worked with & developed large teams with MUA, assistants, and models. 3. Have expertise in photo editing for clients within Lightroom and Photoshop. Ability to use Indesign as well for layouts and other creative additions to projects. My style is dramatic and bright when needed. I like to complete my shoots with minimal to little need for post processing edits. I use bokeh techniques in my photographs to show/create the emotions, product, and/or feeling. Additionally, I love using both natural and strobe lighting to get the dramatic effects for finished photographs. I like to show up ready to go and with energy to help clients through the process. There is nothing more unnerving for clients than having their business budgets and marketing budgets rely upon my work. Realizing this, I engage frequently and communicate thoroughly with the teams on shoots and projects.

How did you get started with photography

My photography pursuits began with a love for fashion and street art. I was inspired by the stunning styles and trends of urban culture and worked to incorporate them into my work. I started off with doing catalog and lookbook photos for clothing, then moved into creating my own apparel company, Troo Wear. As I gained creative momentum, I branched out my photography work into events like runways or exhibitions, etc. These opportunities allowed me to collaborate with other artists for photography and further develop my visual style.

What do you love about your job?

I love the art of visual storytelling and film. I regularly incorporate a style of cinematic glamour into my photography and film work, of which my clients find stunning. I like to think creatively and bring something new and magically unique to every project I work on. Thinking out of the box and developing something beautiful to make a lasting positive impression on people is very rewarding.

What are some of your favorite places in San Francisco to take photographs?

I have traversed San Francisco countless times for photoshoots. Golden Gate Park, The View, North Beach district, are all some of my favorite spots. I like to find uncanny and original backgrounds on the streets for my photographs. I regularly travel to San Jose, Berkeley, Santa Cruz, and around the San Francisco Bay Area for projects.
