I have a Bachelor of Fine Art in Photography from the Academy of Art University. I love to photograph people, finding the beauty and unique interesting features that we all have. Most importantly, taking someone's portrait is more than just capturing a photo, if you ask me, it is the creative process in which using lighting, color and composition you create one-frame like movies to tell a story.

Hello, I am a San Francisco Bay Area based Editorial, Portrait, Lifestyle, and Food/Bev Photographer. I spent five years in NYC getting my skills honed into the style and fashion from the big apple. Originally, from San Francisco area, I am back to Bay Area, and excited to share some of my NY style with the SF vibes. I have extensive work with commercial - both marketing campaigns and product - as well as food and beverage. My passion comes from traveling and capturing moments, things, places I wanted people to see even if they were not there. I like to show up ready to go and with energy to help clients through the process. There is nothing more unnerving for clients than having their business budgets and marketing budgets rely upon my work. Realizing this, I engage frequently and communicate thoroughly with the teams on shoots and projects. Highlights of my photography experience and skills: 1. Versatile in working with multiple creative teams and have extensive experience with Art and Creative Directors as well as Marketing executives. 2. Worked with & developed large teams with MUA, assistants, and models. 3. Have expertise in photo editing for clients within Lightroom and Photoshop. Ability to use Indesign as well for layouts and other creative additions to projects.

I am an Oakland-based portrait and lifestyle photographer. I've always been fascinated by stories and the emotions that make them so moving and memorable. Perhaps this is why I chose to study Journalism and Communication in the early millennium. That time in college solidified my passion for visual storytelling and photography. As the decade progressed, I advanced my professional career in my home country, Brazil, working with the Press Office and Marketing, where I had numerous opportunities to use my photography skills in corporate events and branding shoots. Today, I am content and fulfilled because I am able to work directly with my clients and tell their stories with the same professionalism and a lot more love.

I have been a professional photographer for over 20 years. We specialize in headshots and Personal Branding Portraits. We help our clients create beautiful photographs that rebuild their brand and tell their story. Personal Branding Portraits goes beyond the traditional headshot and illustrates the heart of your business. People want to know who is behind the products and services they are buying. They want to know why you do what you do and what it would look like if they bought into your business. They want you to show them, not tell them how your business is… and that is what Personal Branding Portraits provide. With years of experience we understand the many details that go through making our clients look their best. We will collaborate and strategize in creating images to be used in your marketing, promotional, and brand content areas. Our goal is to go above and beyond to exceed our client’s expectations. It is our mission to have every client satisfied and happy with our work. Here is some of what our clients have said, “I wanted a more professional headshot for my book cover. She has the highest standards in quality when it comes to photography. We went through 2 to 3 different outfit changes in one session. And the results is no comparison my other headshots I've had before”.

I'm a photo artist living and working in San Francisco. I like to explore San Francisco and new areas while taking photos. I have a background working as an assistant video editor in post production, but found that I prefer being out in the field working directly with the camera rather than spending the majority of my time at a computer. Lately I spend more time on set for video/photo productions and also doing a lot of freelance real estate photography.

Combining my experience and creative eye as a longtime Graphic Designer and Art Director, I take joy in my passion of capturing photographic images. With a photography related background in Photo Art Direction at McCann, I art directed numerous interior photoshoots for a well known, high-end home interiors account working with an established Minneapolis photographer. My design studio also worked in that capacity for a home improvement firm based in the Bay Area with a number of local interiors photographers. Hence my interest in shooting interiors. I have been aquiring the equipment needed and studying the different methods of capturing architectural and interior photography from masters in the craft. I tend to shoot with an interior design perspective, not so much showing the size of a home, but more about the features that show the uniqueness of each space and how they convey different moods and feelings. I approach all aspects of photography in this manner.

Ok, so Matt is not the best photographer on Snappr. That's because he's also the CEO of Snappr, so he doesn't have as much time to shoot as he'd like. But if you're a fan of "Undercover Boss" vibes and/or can't find anyone else, he'll do you a half-good event shoot. Specializes in low-light, naturally lit event shoots at nighttime.

How did you get started with photography

I began my photographic journey while studying abroad in Amsterdam in 2008. I had purchased my first dSLR for the trip and found myself behind the viewfinder most of the time instead of practicing music (the reason I was there).

What do you love about your job?

I love meeting new people and forming a bond between me and my subjects, even if it's only for a brief time. It's challenging to photograph people you don't know in a way that makes your subject look honest and true. There's a level of trust that must be achieved before this can happen, and I enjoy creating that relationship. That's what I strive to do with my portraits and whenever photographing people.

What are some of your favorite places in San Francisco to take photographs?

There are so many great places in San Francisco to photograph. Some of my favorites include: Marshall's Beach, Crissy Field, Land's End, Golden Gate Park, North Beach, Fort Mason, and many other parks and neighborhoods that dot the SF landscape.
