How did you get started with photography

I've always loved imageries and cinematography throughout my formative years. Whilst contemplating a career change just over a decade ago, a friend mentioned that her partner was involved in a startup street press and needed a photographer. I went and got myself a DSLR, took some photos for a portfolio and the rest is history! Since then I have shot numerous celebrities and red carpet function before discovering my love for weddings and events.

What do you love about your job?

My work in photography is a natural extension of my desire to tell stories. I'm a full time wedding, event and portrait photographer, and I feel so fortunate to have the natural ability to build rapport with my subjects and to make a lasting contribution to their story.

What are some of your favorite places in Sydney to take photographs?

I adore the historic district of The Rocks and surrounds for its diversity - narrow cobblestone laneways, romantic stairways leading to lookout points, quirky characteristic shopfronts, and harbourside promenade with views of Sydney's famous icons. For something out of the ordinary, one of my go to secret photography spot would have to be the area around Glebe foreshore just before sunset.
